What works where — today

Safe-Alert has three response channels. One works anywhere in Nigeria with a phone signal. The others depend on partnerships we are building state by state, and we only ever show what is actually live.

Your trusted contacts Instant SMS + app push with your live location. Your contacts decide how to help — this is not a professional dispatch. Available nationwide, anywhere with a phone signal
Safe-Alert partner responders A nearby verified responder is notified and can accept your alert. Partner responders are trained volunteers, not emergency personnel, and are under no obligation to attend. Pilot Lagos, FCT  ·  Planned Rivers, Oyo, Kano, Enugu
Know who to call The police publish a control-room number for every state, but most people never see the list. We show yours with a call button, alongside 112, 199 and 767. You place the call — Safe-Alert never contacts them for you. Available in all 36 states and the FCT

Why we are careful about this

Our Trust rules say we must never imply a response pathway that does not exist. A green light here means we have tested it. As the responder network grows, this page changes first. Read the Trust centre →
