Delete Your Account
You can delete your SafeAlert account at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what data is removed.
Delete from the App
Recommended · InstantOpen the SafeAlert app on your phone
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
Read the confirmation and tap "Yes, delete everything"
Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately
Request via Email
Processed within 30 daysIf you no longer have access to the app or are unable to delete from within the app, email us and we will manually delete your account and all associated data.
Send an email to safealertfly@gmail.com with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include your registered email address and/or phone number so we can identify your account
We will confirm deletion within 30 days and send you a confirmation email
⚠️ What gets permanently deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- Your name, email, phone number, blood type, and medical notes
- All saved emergency contacts
- Your complete alert history and location data
- Your ring pairing and health monitoring data
- Your alert credits and subscription status
- Your security agency configuration
- Any responder profile if you registered as a responder
What is NOT deleted
Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations (FIRS). These records contain transaction amounts and dates only — no personal health or safety data. Active SOS alerts at the time of deletion are automatically resolved.
